On Saturday, August 22, 2026, NKA made a special trip to Porsgrunn to present the "Venue of the Year 2025" award to RiP!
With a little help from the fantastic band Poor Bambi—who were performing at RiP that same evening—it turned into a wonderful surprise for those of us who keep the wheels turning on this 36-year-old rock institution.
We are speechless and incredibly grateful for this industry recognition—a huge thank you to NKA, to all the NKA members and colleagues who voted for us, and to all the volunteers, guests, and artists who are part of the history of Rockeklubben i Porsgrunn, past and present.
We have no plans to stop; this is just too much fun :)
