Do you want to volunteer at RiP?

RiP is 100% Volunteer-Run – True "Dugnad"-spirit

RiP is operated entirely on a volunteer basis — this is pure community work.

We run on small budgets and do not have the capacity to pay wages when organizing concerts. That means we rely on the help of friendly, music-loving people who support RiP and what we stand for, and who want to contribute to keeping our little rock basement alive with amazing concert experiences.

We're always looking for more people to help out — whether it's working the door, the bar, putting up posters, or assisting with tech.

For tech (sound and lighting), it's helpful to have some prior knowledge or interest, but it's not a requirement. We provide training in all areas — the most important thing is a willingness to learn and to be a good ambassador for RiP.
You must be at least 18 years old to work inside the club, but if you're under 18, you're still welcome to help us hang posters.

What do you get in return?
Free tickets to concerts at RiP, the chance to help run one of Norway's oldest and most respected rock clubs and concert organizers, and a behind-the-scenes look at live music production.
You'll become part of a warm and welcoming community and meet lots of great people!
RiP hosts at least two social gatherings for volunteers each year, where we do something fun together 😀
And volunteering at RiP is a great experience to add to your CV — something future employers will appreciate.
