Accessibility

Rockeklubben i Porsgrunn (RiP) is located in a basement venue, which means the space is naturally dark and atmospheric — perfect for rock, but not always ideal for accessibility. We've worked hard to improve this, and as of February 2025, we're proud to say that our venue is once again fully accessible to everyone.

A brand-new wheelchair lift was installed in early 2025, making it possible for wheelchair users and others with mobility needs to access the venue safely.
We also have portable ramps for outdoor use, which our staff at the top of the stairs will assist with upon arrival. They are also available to help operate the lift.

Inside the venue, at the bottom of the stairs, you'll find a wheelchair-accessible restroom (HC WC).

Please note:

• RiP is located in a dark basement, and lighting conditions may vary throughout the evening.
• We frequently use strobe lights during concerts, and unfortunately, we do not provide advance warnings for their use. This may affect guests with light sensitivity or epilepsy.
