RiP 35 years: august 1990 – august 2025!

Autumn 2025 marks a jubilee for the Rock Club in Porsgrunn, and it kicks off with a long weekend packed with content for everyone interested in the history of RiP and great concert experiences!

Monday, August 18: The actual anniversary date – the day it's been 35 years since the first concert organized by Rockeklubben i Porsgrunn: Chris Erichsen's Orchestra at the Outdoor Stage at Øvre Frednes! The legendary concert where the police came and cut the power – a bang of a start to what has become 35 years of rock history, not just locally, but nationally as well! It's absolutely appropriate to raise the flag on this day ❤

Friday, August 22: THE MEFFS (UK) + TBA

Saturday, August 23: Book release – RiP 35 Years at 14:00 + CHRIS ERICHSEN concert at 15:00. Free entry!

Sunday, August 24: Book talk – RiP 35 Years with author Tom Hovinbøle and guests – Karjolen Pub at 15:00
