FUZZYCAT ORGAN QUARTET brings noise, fuzz and madness to RiP! Fuzzycat Organ Quartet is an uncompromising noise rock band with fuzzed walls of sound, crushing grooves, and vocals characterized by madness as well as fragility. Inspired by bands like Pom Poko, Viagra Boys, Idles, Primus and Deerhoof, Fuzzycat brings even more absurdity, anger, joy and heaviness into the artistic world of noise rock. Imagine Ivo Caprino characters who have forgotten their guitars at home and are trying to be rock stars.

We've discovered a new band! We went to Oslo to see the legend Jon Spencer at Goldie, and of course we followed our own advice to always catch the support band. Oboyoboyoboy we were glad we did, because behind the slightly jazzy name Fuzzycat Organ Quartet was a jaw-dropping noise rock gem! Artsy fartsy fuzzing awesome, and we made our way to the merch table after the gig to start booking!

Sylvisphere is the brainchild of Porsgrunn resident Einar Ottestad, born out of an inventive urge and a zither from the Sudan aid. The project debuted in 2014 in a living room together with Bjørn Nikolaisen and Ekaterina Pliassova, and has since come and gone in different constellations with varying expressions. The only thing that is certain is that Sylvisphere is always changing – and that the music is experimental, but melodious.
In 2025, Sylvisphere consists of Einar Ottestad and Mari Syvertsen, with increasingly regular guests such as Kim Wild, Mishan Karlsböck and Frode Veungen. Einar: Guitar, Bass, Zither and Cello, Mari: Vocals and soap bubbles, Frode: Drums, percussion and more, Kim: Percussion, drums and crank gramophone, Mishan: Keys.
