KVAEN (S) live @ RiP 10/10!

Hailing from the desolate landscapes of Northern Sweden, KVAEN delivers uncompromising black metal characterized by explosive speed and distinct elements of classic speed metal and pagan metal. With diabolical melodies, ice-cold riffs, and lyrics inspired by the Viking Age, death, and Ragnarök, KVAEN has established itself as one of the most exciting names in the modern black metal scene.

The support act is GRAAKVAD, a pagan/black metal band from Siljan in Telemark. Since forming in 2022, the band has developed a dark, aggressive, and atmospheric sound rooted in Norse mythology and Nordic folklore. On their debut EP, *Blót við Eld og Skugga*, they combine gritty, groove-driven riffs with evocative passages to create a distinctive sonic landscape. Following their debut performance at Braakfest and signing with Braak Records, the band is now well underway with work on their first full-length album.

This will be a night where modern black metal meets Nordic heritage—featuring two bands that, each in their own way, unite raw intensity, atmosphere, and uncompromising energy. Get ready for an intense journey through dark forests, ancient rituals, and relentless riffs. Experience it all in our basement on October 10th.

It's going to be absolutely killer!
