POOR BAMBI TO RIP!

Straight from the Norwegian oil capital, the trio delivers an explosive mix of noise rock and punk, where polished perfection is crushed by raw energy, desperation and uncompromising intensity. With a live show that balances controlled frustration and total devotion, Poor Bambi has made a name for themselves both in Norway and internationally. Now they can be seen in the basement of RIP!

Poor Bambi is Sarah Hestness (vocals/guitar), Espen Eidem (guitar) and Simen Amundrud (drums). Poor Bambi has already made a mark both in Norway and internationally. In January 2024, the band released the single "Unbreakable", which was listed on KEXP (USA), praised by NRK P13 Musikk's Totto Mjelde as "one of the best songs of the year" and included in Deichman's list of the year's best singles. They have delivered a number of singles, including "Business or Pleasure" and "Colour Does Not Exist", produced by Nicholas Sansano (Sonic Youth, Public Enemy).

The debut album "Skyscrapers Soaring, Yet We're Drowning" was released on February 6, 2026 on Apollon Records, and has received unanimous praise from critics and fans. The album is dark, intense and full of contrasts, where the oil shine of the city meets the desperation of the underground and sets sound on a changing worldview.

The band has previously completed two tours of Norway, played festivals such as Jærnåttå, Fjellparkfestivalen and 100 Dagar, and had a concert in New York.

Their energetic stage performance has garnered praise from both audiences and critics:

"The band's lead guitarist provides a crazy number of pedals, a tough frontwoman on vocals/guitar and a razor-sharp drummer who welds together an explosive and exciting riff journey..." – Kjartan Tjøsvoll, Hulen Bergen

"Poor Bambi is the very essence of a hard-hitting rock trio, jarring, punky and sound-painting noise-making with Sarah Hestness' superior vocals pushed far forward in the soundscape." – Mode Steinkjer, Dagsavisen

October 2025 Poor Bambi released the single "Business or Pleasure", which has been internationally described as:

"spontaneous punk with vivid storytelling" – Glide Magazine

"a raw, tension-filled track that fuses desire and chaos" – Thoughts Words Action

"a highly entertaining barrage of guitar, noise rock and punk-influenced vocals" – Nordic Music Review

"Poor Bambi is a study of brilliant contrasts - a traditional yet innovative power trio, simultaneously loose and precise, technical yet raw, driven by both melodious song and sonics. The contradictions add up to a broad narrative that is deeply satisfying. Is it business or is it pleasure ? It's both, it just depends on what you need." - Nicholas Sansano

SAD CHLOË

From their headquarters in the fairytale hills outside the village of Flisa, Sad Chloë has been experimenting with the rock genre since 2020. Their artistic, and sometimes noisy, rock has gained attention in the underground scene, both in Norway and abroad. Among others in Canada, France, Italy, Mexico and Venezuela.

The band's fifth album "Sunroad Miller" was released in August 2025, and was highlighted by both Gaffa and Disharmoni. The song "Fountain Lies" was also one of the latter's favorite songs from 2025. The album's first and only single "Sunbelly" was released in June, and found its place on many playlists throughout the summer, including on Radio Signal, Deichman music and Radio Kaos Caribou.

Sad Chloë consists of Uno Møller (guitar/vocals) and Elida Inman (bass/vocals), some of whom are familiar from Team Me, and Tyge Møller (drums). Live, they also have Hallvard Bonden (Killer Kid Mozart, Tape Trash and Cupid Girl) on guitar. NRK P3 once described the band as follows: "There are always new expressions to discover for the music enthusiast, but oh my, how nice it is when you find the pure essence.... It's almost chaotic and aggressive, but still fresh and perversely catchy."
